Privacy Policy

1. Overview

THIRDTAKE is designed to give you a structured review of a conversation while minimizing the information sent off your device. This policy explains what information is processed, why it is processed, and which service providers are involved.

2. Screenshots and conversation text

Screenshot images are processed on your device for text recognition. THIRDTAKE does not upload the screenshot image itself as part of the normal Full Call review flow.

After on-device text recognition, the minimum parsed conversation text needed for the review is sent to THIRDTAKE's backend. This can include message text, message order, the A/B speaker assignment, and a displayed timestamp when one is available.

3. Anonymous account and technical identifiers

THIRDTAKE uses anonymous authentication through Supabase. A technical user identifier and authentication token are used so the backend can authorize requests and apply usage limits. You are not required to provide a name, email address, or password to use the app.

4. AI processing

The parsed conversation text is sent through THIRDTAKE's backend to an AI service provider, currently OpenAI, to generate the review. THIRDTAKE sends only the conversation data needed for that request and does not send the original screenshot image in the normal review flow.

5. Subscription and purchase data

If you purchase THIRDTAKE Plus, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat helps THIRDTAKE determine whether your subscription is active. THIRDTAKE may process subscription status, product identifiers, transaction-related identifiers, subscription period information, and entitlement state in order to unlock paid access and enforce monthly usage limits.

6. Usage records

THIRDTAKE keeps server-side usage records needed to enforce limits such as the first free Full Call and the 30 Full Calls included in a monthly Plus subscription period. These records can include an access tier, a technical subject key, reservation/completion status, and timestamps. The usage ledger does not need to store your conversation text.

7. Service providers

THIRDTAKE relies on service providers to operate the app, including:

• Supabase for anonymous authentication, backend functions, and usage-control infrastructure.
• OpenAI for AI processing used to generate conversation reviews.
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement and purchase-state management.
• Apple for App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing.

These providers may process technical information in accordance with their own terms, privacy practices, and the service configuration used by THIRDTAKE.

8. Retention

THIRDTAKE does not intentionally persist your screenshot images or conversation text in its own application database as part of normal verdict generation. Technical usage and subscription-control records may be retained as needed to operate the service, prevent duplicate free or paid usage, troubleshoot failures, and meet legal or operational obligations. Service providers may retain data according to their own policies and the configuration of their services.

9. Security

THIRDTAKE uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information in transit and at rest. No system can guarantee absolute security, so you should avoid submitting information you do not want processed for the purpose of generating a review.

10. Children's privacy

THIRDTAKE is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

11. Your choices

You control which screenshots you choose to import. You can stop using the app at any time. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple account and App Store subscription settings.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as THIRDTAKE changes. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
